In this role you will:

• Develop accurate estimates and cost plans for key client projects.
• Enable agile project management by providing clear cost documentation and timely updates to support informed decision-making.
• Resolve commercial issues quickly and fairly, including change orders and contract matters.
• Ensure transparency in dispute resolution, supporting the settlement of construction claims and loss/expense cases.
• Prepare and agree on final accounts, managing claims to secure the best value for the client.
• Play an active role in the tender/bid process—from preparing initial documentation to analysis and reporting.
• Monitor project spend by producing valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicating any variations to your team.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have Pharma or Life Science experience
• Bring experience as a Senior Cost Manager, ideally from a consultancy background.
• Have worked on cost management for diverse projects, particularly in the pharma or life sciences sector.
• Possess expertise in MEP cost management, budget control, cost planning, and initiating change forms—plus knowledge of alternative construction materials.
• Are chartered or working toward chartership (we’ll support you on that journey!).
• Hold a degree or equivalent experience in cost management or a construction-related discipline.
• Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Thrive in a dynamic environment, managing your own priorities and deadlines.
• Enjoy building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, fostering openness, collaboration, and a sense of fun.
