You will be part of the Corporate EHS Reporting & Systems team within Environment, Health & Safety department. We are assigned to digitally rethink our key business processes, drive our reporting needs and build a digital community within EHS. Our mission is to increase quality and speed of decision making by digitizing business processes and automation of incidents and insights.

Welcome to Corporate EHS Reporting & Systems in Operations
Our team is part of a larger organization responsible for Environment, Health & Safety processes on behalf of Novonesis Operations. We are responsible for environment and safety reporting, compliance processes and system management and aim to focus on driving AI implementation and reporting automation to enhance efficiency and impact in the future. On behalf of Corporate EHS, we own the digitalization roadmap and deliver a wide range of business insights tools to enable Novonesis strategic goals and needs. We are an international team of highly skilled experts, committed to shaping the future digitalization and reporting roadmap in Novonesis.

As part of the Corporate EHS Reporting & Systems team, this position offers a unique opportunity to work in an international environment while contributing to a major digital transformation. You will engage with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with experts across the organization to shape innovative solutions that support Novonesis’ strategic ambitions.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Developing, maintaining and improving Power BI dashboards to visualize EHS and sustainability performance data, ensuring clarity, usability, and alignment with business needs.
  • Supporting quarterly environmental data review, performing data validation, quality checks, and trend analysis in collaboration with regional EHS teams.
  • Exploring and piloting AI applications (e.g., automation, natural language processing, anomaly detection) to improve data handling and reporting processes.
  • Assisting with internal and external reporting efforts, including CSRD-related data streams and environmental metrics.

The average time commitment will be around 15-20 hours a week, most likely split on 2-3 days at our headquarters in Lyngby, also taking into consideration peak periods on studies (exam periods etc.)

To succeed you must hold:

  • Enrollment in the final year of your undergraduate studies or the first year of your master’s program within Environmental Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, with at least 1.5 years remaining before graduation.
  • A strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken)
  • Knowledge of database structures, data wrangling, and data science, either through academic studies or substantial project work, is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, Knime, and AI tools (prompting) is an advantage, but not a requirement.
