As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining the core enterprise data model within the Grundfos Data Platform. This is a collaborative role where you’ll work across multiple teams to ensure alignment and consistency, creating a unified and scalable data foundation that drives business needs and sparks innovation.
What is the job about?
In this role, you will have hands on building data pipelines and data platform infrastructure for Grundfos, and over time you will also guide other Data Engineers on best practices. Disciplines in scope include e.g. structure and processes for data pipelines and data models, ensuring compliance with IS standards, and leveraging special IS access permissions to enable efficient pipeline delivery. You will design and develop data pipelines that make data from existing sources available in Snowflake, while collaborating closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and IS teams to build sustainable and effective data solutions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operations in the data platform team
- Design and development of data pipelines
- Implementation of industry standard applications for data management
- Shape and implement (data) best practices
- Snowflake, Azure, and lakehouse implementations in general
- Data Vault 2.0 and Vaultspeed
- DBT
- Collibra
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or similar field of education
- High proficiency with Python & SQL is required
- Good understanding of data modelling, and the compilatory requirements for exposing data
- Preferably experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake & Snowpipe
- Preferably experience building ETL and ELT workflows
- Preferably experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and IT security
- Preferably knowledge of Agile development, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as code (ARM)
- Preferably knowledge of Machine learning
- High proficiency in English
