Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable ServiceNow Developer to join our team. Join us as we integrate ServiceNow with our enterprise systems and ensure operational success during a major transition. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions, continuously improve processes, and maintain system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Create and customize applications and modules using JavaScript, Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML, and CSS to meet evolving business needs.
- Configuration & Customization: Tailor ServiceNow applications, including workflows, forms, and reports, to support business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and third-party applications, facilitating a smooth transition and maintaining operational continuity.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring uninterrupted service.
- Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, managing updates, patches, and continuous improvements.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, process owners, and newly integrated team members, to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar role, with experience in transition projects preferred.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies, with strong experience in ServiceNow development, including custom applications and integrations.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, particularly in the context of organizational change.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of on-prem, cloud computing, and SaaS environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
