Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and innovative ServiceNow Integration Specialist to join our team .As a ServiceNow Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for building and managing integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, to ensure that systems are integrated smoothly and effectively. Your work will involve identifying and resolving issues, optimizing current integrations for performance, and ensuring compliance with security standards. This is a high-impact role where you’ll contribute to operational efficiency and support the company’s growing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Create and develop robust integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including newly integrated team members, to gather requirements and ensure that integrations align with both legacy and new business needs.
- Troubleshooting & Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring that all systems continue to operate smoothly.
- Maintenance & Enhancement: Continuously improve and maintain existing integrations, optimizing them for performance and functionality.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integrations.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure that all integrations adhere to security and data protection standards, especially in the context of merging systems and data.
- Technical Support & Training: Provide expert technical support and training to end-users and team members, focusing on the new integrations and systems.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and integration, with a strong background in handling transition projects.
- Expertise in REST, SOAP, and other web services technologies, with practical experience in integration projects.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, JSON, and other relevant programming languages.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices, particularly in environments undergoing significant change.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure during the transition phase.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, particularly during organizational transitions.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of on-prem, cloud computing, and SaaS environments, with experience integrating systems in these settings.
