Head of Finance, North America - Unique Human Capital

Lead the financial strategy for North America and drive growth in a global leading company

As Head of Finance, North America at Kamstrup you will become a key member of the North American Leadership Team and act as a close sparring partner for the US VP. This role encompasses overall financial oversight for Kamstrup Water Metering LLC in the US, Kamstrup Metering Solutions Canada Inc. and in Mexico.

With direct report to the VP Finance at Kamstrup’s HQ you will lead a team of six highly dedicated and passionate employees. You will be pivotal in the ongoing development and success of the US Finance Team within a high-growth company. You will be responsible for setting the financial strategic direction and collaborating closely with the organisation and the broader Finance function to establish an operating model that sets the standard for the next phase of growth including a further expansion of scope to be covered locally vs. at HQ in Denmark. Locally, the Head of Finance NA covers both 'Controlling' and 'Accounting' functions.

The primary responsibility of this role is to guide the North American Finance organisation by establishing and managing local financial policies, planning, reporting, and control systems. This includes overseeing budgeting processes, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You have a minimum 10 years of proven experience with reporting, financial management and financial sparring. This can either be from a position as CFO, Regional Finance Manager, Director of Finance or a similar role from a global company. Furthermore, you have in-depth knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting, combined with an interest in optimising and developing financial processes. You have had managerial responsibility for a finance department combined with leadership experience and a passion for leadership and personal development.

You have a B.Sc./BA in accounting, finance, or a relevant field; M.Sc./MA is a plus.

You are a person with excellent organisational and leadership skills, effectively managing and coordinating multiple tasks and teams to ensure timely and successful outcomes. Additionally, you are able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and therefore understand and address stakeholders' needs and concerns, ensuring their engagement and satisfaction while aligning their interests with the organisation's goals.
