Overview
Within the PMO, the Process Specialist will be responsible to drive key initiatives within the global Project Management group, including

1) setting up and maintaining the entire mapping of global PRO related processes into the SPS designated system,

2) designing and maintaining the global project execution model,

3) any other tasks and projects related to improvement of systems, etc.

The process specialist contribution will lead to the develop and process improvement, evolve the best practices related to project management and project execution. Such initiatives are crucial for optimizing and seeking excellence in project execution, always seeking customer satisfaction, meeting contractual deadlines, improving quality, cost and, most importantly, the success of SPS.

The scope of the PMO is to standardize the project related governance processes and facilitate the best practice sharing of methodologies, tools and techniques.

Detailed activities description:

• Set up entire mapping of global PRO related processes into SPS designated system, in close alignment with BSP;
• Driving the design and maintenance of the global execution model;
• Drive PMO initiatives within the global project team, including Risk Management and Lessons Learned;
• Actively seek for Industry Best Practices for Project Management and apply this within the global organization;
• Contact point in PRO for any tasks and projects related to improvement of systems, incl Primavera;
• Develop and update the Project Management procedures, flowcharts and guidelines to ensure correct, consistent and standardized processes are used within the PRO Team;
• Help support the automating and optimizing the usage of RigDoc, by integrating the system with planning system and other relevant systems; incl help supporting the exchanging of data between clients, vendors, and sub-contractors;
• Create links and more effective working methods between project mobilisation processes and the document control team;
• Fostering a culture of collaboration, problem solving and continuous improvements.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in for example Business Management and/or Engineering, qualification in PMP or similar is an advantage;
• From three to five years of experience in project management and/or PMO related functions;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate high levels of complexity with ease;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• A proactive, can-do attitude, with the ability to inspire your team and drive projects forward;
• Strong understanding of business management process methodologies;
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them;
• Fluency in English.
