At the Technical Faculty of IT and Design, Department of Computer Science a position as Postdoc in Human-Computer Interaction is open for appointment from January 1, 2025 or soon hereafter. The position is available for a period of 24 months. The Human-Centered Computing(HCC) group at Aalborg University’s Department of Computer Science is looking to hire a postdoctoral researcher within the field of Human-Computer

The position is within the context of an interdisciplinary project on the integration of artificial intelligence-based decision support systems in port digitalisation. The postdoctoral researcher will empiricaly investigate how decision-support systems can augment human-decision making capabilities in such real-time and physical contexts. We further seek to evaluate novel methodological approaches for conducting ecologically valid decision-support studies. An ideal candidate will have a background in Human-Computer Interaction or similar field, and have proven track-record in applying both quantitative and qualitative methods.

The recruited post-doctoral researcher will be part of the HCC research group,https://www.hcc.aau.dk/, a lively and international research environment with a focus on designing, developing, and applying interactive computing technologies.

Qualification requirements:
Appointment as Postdoc presupposes scientific qualifications at PhD–level or similar scientific qualifications. The research potential of each applicant will be emphasized in the overall assessment. Appointment as a Postdoc cannot exceed a period of four years in total at Aalborg University.
