Senior Windows Consultant

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Senior Windows Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows Server environments and a proven track record of independently delivering complex projects. This role requires a deep understanding of x86 computer architecture, server hardware, Windows Server operating system, VMware server virtualization products, and the ability to provide high-level consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery: Independently manage and deliver projects related to IT infrastructure running on Windows Server platform. This includes planning, execution, technical task implementation and closing of the project within agreed timelines and budgets.

Technical Expertise: Provide expert-level knowledge in Windows Server platform administration, including but not limited to modern Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, all its roles and features like File and Storage services, Active Directory related services, Network services, Failover Clustering, Deployment services, baseline security and hardening, etc. Experience with IT infrastructure automation tools (HP Server Automation or similar) , system programming skills using command line interpretator (CLI), PowerShell and/or Python, are mandatory. High level of understanding of how server and application monitoring, anti-malware tools, backup and print services are operated in an enterprise environment. Knowledge of public cloud technologies like Micrsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) are highly appreciated.

Virtualization Expertise:Provide deep technical expertise in virtualization solutions, focusing on VMware infrastructure, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.

Client Consulting: Offer consulting services to clients, understanding their needs, and designing solutions that meet their business objectives.

Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex server and network issues, providing effective and timely resolutions.

Documentation: Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including system design, configuration, and maintenance instructions.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest developments in Windows Server technologies and best practices, continuously improving our services and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows Server environments, with a strong emphasis on VMware server virtualization technologies (vSphere).
• Proven track record in delivering complex Windows servers for both physical and virtualization projects independently.
• Relevant certifications, such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or similar, are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions
