Technical Lead, Software Architecture - Unique Human Capital

As Technical Lead, Software Architecture at DEIF, you will be at the forefront of designing solutions that power the next generation of sustainable energy management. This is your chance to influence a global company committed to driving the green energy transition through innovative solutions.

With direct report to Vice President, R&D Software, you will collaborate closely with product and hardware architects to define software architectures for DEIF's Controllers, Connectivity, and Cloud platforms. You will ensure that the software architecture supports the immediate needs of DEIF's products and their long-term vision for scalable, cutting-edge solutions. You will work cross-functionally with diverse teams to integrate emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, into DEIF's platforms, ensuring that all solutions are secure, efficient, and future-proof.

Your role will also include developing a reference architecture that supports DEIF's expanding product portfolio, from embedded systems and cyber security to cloud-based solutions. You will directly impact shaping the company's technological strategy, guiding teams to make architecture decisions that align with DEIF's business goals and ensure smooth product lifecycle management. By balancing innovation with practical implementation, you will contribute to creating sustainable, intelligent solutions that meet the evolving demands of the green energy market.

Your main tasks are:

• Define and implement architecture strategies that align with DEIF’s long-term technological goals
• Oversee software design across embedded systems, PC applications, and Cloud platforms
• Ensure that DEIF’s software solutions integrate cutting-edge technologies like Cyber Security (IEC 62443 standard), AI, and machine learning
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Hardware Architects to create a unified roadmap for software innovation
• Guide development teams and provide technical leadership in resolving complex challenges
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in embedded systems, cloud platforms, and connectivity solutions

You are expected to have significant experience in software architecture, including technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), embedded systems, and connectivity solutions. A solid understanding of cyber security (IEC 62443 standard) and experience in managing software lifecycle processes are key to success in this role. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java is essential.

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, with additional certifications in areas like AI, machine learning, cloud computing, or software architecture being an advantage.

You are a person with excellent communication and leadership skills and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, which is vital for this role.
