Your Responsibilities:

• Design & Architect: Lead the development of a private cloud platform tailored to client needs, integrating public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for a secure, scalable hybrid cloud environment.
• Infrastructure Development: Spearhead the deployment and scaling of cloud solutions that meet the high availability, security, and compliance standards required in sectors like pharma, finance, and public services.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work with teams across DevOps, Engineering, Security, and Product Management to ensure hybrid cloud solutions meet business and regulatory needs.
• Automation & Optimization: Implement standardization and automation in infrastructure management to improve cost-efficiency and performance for critical systems.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure that cloud architectures adhere to strict security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks specific to industries like financial services, pharma, and government.
• Innovation & Strategy: Stay updated on hybrid cloud technology trends and develop strategies to enhance security, compliance, and operational efficiency for clients.
• Community Engagement: Lead internal cloud initiatives and participate in external activities like conferences, webinars, and marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years in hybrid cloud architecture, focusing on private and hybrid cloud environments in compliance-driven sectors.
• Technical Expertise: Skilled in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), private cloud solutions (OpenStack, VMware), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiar with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the regulatory environments and operational needs of the pharma, financial, and public sectors.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) in tech and product teams.
• Certifications: Relevant cloud and agile certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified ScrumMaster) are advantageous.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on conflict resolution and leveraging internal and/or external resources.
• Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small technical audiences.
