Position Overview
This position oversees and manages the day-to-day activities of the North America Supply Chain. As the Director of Logistics and Distribution, you will set expectations and provide feedback and direction to the team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the overall quality and KPIs of the Shipping & Distribution, Logistics, and Planning & Purchasing areas and setting the strategic direction for the NA Supply Chain through continuous improvement.

- Develop a strategic roadmap to implement automation to promote efficiency and quality improvements within Distribution.
- Work with various layers of leadership to formulate and implement operational business strategy and plans for each division.
- Responsible for the overall North America GN Hearing strategy and execution of supply chain and inventory management operations, which includes Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Logistics, and Inventory Management.
- Ensure material planning and delivery support manufacturing operation, inventory management, ensuring the company receives the best overall value (cost, lead-time, quality, and terms) for purchased items, and development of a robust and supply base (domestic and international) to mitigate risk and maximize flexibility
- Provide functional and technical expertise and application leadership on projects involving warehouse management systems and labor management.
- Provide expertise on WMS systems integration with other intern / external systems.
- Recommend and lead the design, development, implementation, and support efforts of new functionality, or integrations with and within Warehouse Management system.
- Stays abreast of trending economic and business conditions within (and affecting) the supply chain, as well as industry best practices, adjusting and implementing the actions of the Supply Chain team as needed
- Ensure measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes throughout all layers of the operational structure.
- Create reports to demonstrate the success of operational activities, analyze results, report on key metrics, and findings.
- Support quality, including ISO audits and supplier audits
- Understand and support the Sales Channels and create scalable processes.
- Develop, monitor, control and improve key KPIs
- Mentor & develop Managers, Supervisors & Leads to build bench capacity and future Leaders
- Effectively communicate goals & priorities the team
- Establish and maintain the annual budget, implementing cost management strategies to achieve fiscal targets
- Take the lead position on large divisional, operational, and corporate projects, setting goals, identifying the milestones and implementing the plan
- Support safety requirements and training
- Write and deliver annual performance reviews and quarterly 121s
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the U.S. and globally
- Participate and support continuous improvement efforts
- Establish and meet targets in inventory regulation

Desired Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Education:
- Master’s Degree
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of five years’ experience managing production or distribution staff, preferably in the Hearing Aid industry or related product manufacturing field.
- Minimum of five years’ leadership experience in a supply chain management, planning, inventory management, or purchasing preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth experience with the distribution process, with a well-documented history of resolving issues systematically.
- Experience working in an international environment and cooperating cross functionally and cross culturally preferred.
- Proficient in leadership and motivational strategies to facilitate coaching, mentorship, and conflict resolution among team members.
- Experience with EOS and lean concepts is desirable.

- Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international)

Working Environment:
The facility is in Bloomington, MN (through Q2 2025) and then business will recloate to Shakopee, MN.
Physical Demands:
Able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
Able to lift 25 pounds by self and 50+ pounds with a team lift. (i.e. Sitting, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, etc.)
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time onsite position working Monday – Friday.
Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $155,000 to $180,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
