What’s in it for you?
As our new RTE for the GSDITS ART, you will take on an essential role for Novo Nordisk, where agile working is highly valued. That means you'll be implementing, adapting, testing, and adjusting to the agile context and new ways of working in Global IT Operations with full support from senior management.
You to be an expert on the entire agile framework as a new member of our team. We are eager to assist you in your professional development and will provide you with tools to expand your knowledge. However, we expect you to have extensive experience implementing transformational and organisational changes.
The importance stems from being the first to bring agility to operations as part of a transformation from local to global. The GSDITS ART has been on the move for two years and ten programme increments. Our new global setup necessitates a significant shift and the leadership of an exceptional professional.
The primary responsibilities for this role are listed below to give you a better idea of what's in it for you. You will:
- Drive GSDITS's ongoing effectiveness in collaboration with the rest of the ART leadership team.
- Serve as an agile champion, coach, and leader for the GSDITS ART.
- Monitor and assist in resolving impediments and escalating if necessary.
- Lead teams, vendors, and customers in the Agile way of working at Novo Nordisk.
- Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, assist in risk management, and drive continuous improvement.
- Drive, facilitate, and execute PI planning and other agile activities such as Vision and Backlog preparation, system demos, and retrospectives.
Furthermore, you will be working independently and collaboratively with our Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers, and Regional Managers, as well as our Business Owners, Technical Architects, and team members distributed globally. You are probably a good candidate for the position if you enjoy interacting with people and guiding in an inclusive and trusting manner.
The position is located in Bagsværd, Denmark; however, you will be working in a global environment and thrives on working in agile delivery teams distributed across different time zones and cultures.
Do you have what it takes?
This ambitious transformation calls for a candidate having great operational experience, transformation experience, an agile mindset, and leadership skills. In detail, we are on the lookout for a candidate having most of the following skills:
- Master’s degree in Business, IT, or another relevant field and 4+ years of experience working with agile transformations, preferably in large complex organisations.
- Extensive experience as a leader or servant leader with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Agile and Lean methodologies is a plus.
As a person, we are looking for someone who is a team player and builds trustful relationships with colleagues and stakeholders naturally. You can work independently and thrive in a busy and global environment where priorities change, and fast decisions are needed to move on. You master various coaching techniques and facilitation tools and understand the importance of flexibility and change management to succeed with your ideas and beliefs. You quickly spot anti-patterns and act proactively to ensure the needed guidance and attention for the teams to get back on track.

You will be part of the GSDITS product area, which is part of the Global IT Operation (GITO). From this area, you will get 200+ great colleagues distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services.
GSDITS is a product area with highly skilled and dedicated people. We strongly focus on teamwork and collaboration and work in a genuinely global setup. We are responsible for the entire lifecycle of laptops, mobile devices, printers, and meeting room equipment. Furthermore, we are in the process of introducing a genuinely Global Service Desk and adjusting the onsite support.
