After a successful implementation of D365 in 18 legal entities, Tempur is looking for a Manufacturing System Owner to join their ERP team. As a start, you will lead the project implementation at DF, the manufacturing plant in Aarup, Denmark.

THE COMPANY
The TEMPUR® story begins in the late 1960s when NASA scientists were tasked with developing a material to cushion pilots against the rigours of test flight. To this end, a completely new material was invented with billions of open cell molecules that slowly react to body weight and warmth. The resulting viscoelastic material ended up being used onboard the Space Shuttles.

The company is the world’s largest bedding provider and develops, manufactures and markets mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows and other sleep and relaxation products under various brands. All its TEMPUR® branded mattress and pillows still use the original NASA technological breakthrough as the basis for the material.

Tempur Sealy has 12,000 employees worldwide with 380 employees working at the Dan-Foam facility in Aarup, Funen.

THE POSITION
You will be the forerunner of the Danish D365 implementation at the factory in Aarup.

You will help assess the manufacturing facilities to prepare for the transition from AX 09 to D365.

You will report directly to the SVP and CFO internationally, and be supported by the international ERP team.

Your goal is to help the business during the move from AX 09 to D365 by utilising a standard and / or common functionality. After the implementation, you will support the business to improve their processes utilising the system and data.

As a Production System Owner, you will utilise the framework of the implementation from the Danish Subsidary to other manufacturing plants.

Examples of assignments:

• Documentation of current and to-be processes including integrations related to manufacturing and warehouse.
• Assume a key role in defining the scope of the D365 reimplementation at a manufacturing facility.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress (supported by project Manager).
• Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule.
• Serving as a point-of-contact for teams and ensure that the team works together efficiently.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple parts of the project.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders.
• Work on IT testing and support business user testing for future D365 upgrades.
• Collaborate with other teams within business and different legal entities to solve challenges.

THE PERSON
For the position, we are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in manufacturing and proven solid experience in D365.

Neccessary skills:

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and challenges.
• Knowledge of integrations used for manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and business users.
• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Problem solving attitude.
• Fluency in Danish and English.
• Ability to work with a global matrixed team and stay calm under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and user communication skills.
