About the Position
We are seeking a talented and innovative Creative Director to work in the Content and Copy team. You’ll work with our Executive Creative Director, UX Content Strategists, and copywriters to develop and realize content strategies, messaging, content, and campaigns for our healthcare and pharmaceutical projects. While prior experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising and communications is not mandatory, the successful candidate must have a genuine willingness to immerse themselves in these industries and a capacity to rapidly understand and simplify complex subjects. The Creative Director –Content & Copy will play a critical role in shaping campaigns and communications aimed at both the public and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation of strategy and culture, with a passion for balancing creativity and logic.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Your main areas of responsibility will be to:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Creative Director and UX Content Strategists to develop creative, content, and messaging strategy for a diverse range of projects, including social media campaigns, digital engagements at medical congresses, multichannel campaigns for healthcare professionals, and rebranding consumer-facing healthcare companies.
  • Focus on content, copy, and UX while collaborating closely with the design team to ensure seamless integration of visuals and content.
  • Cultivate an innovative and agile mindset, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI to benefit Vertic and its clients.
  • Develop a strong understanding of healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, including complex scientific concepts and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Creative Director, copywriters, and UX Content Strategist to deliver outstanding and impactful creative work.

Desired Skills and Experiences
The core competencies of the ideal candidate include:

  • Proven creative experience at a senior level, preferably within a digital advertising agency.
  • Strong background in content, copy, and UX development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A seasoned creative with a background in digital advertising or similar creative environments, adept at marrying strategy and creativity.
  • Proficient in content, copy, and UX, understanding their interplay in crafting immersive digital experiences.
  • Eager to immerse yourself in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, with a capacity to learn and apply complex concepts swiftly.
  • Excellent communicator thriving under pressure, accustomed to fast-pacedenvironments, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excited about the opportunity to work in our Copenhagen office – we are open to candidates from anywhere in the world but must be able to work at our Copenhagen office.

In our Copenhagen office you will find a cozy work environment close to the lakes in the neighborhood around Ryesgade, Nørrebro close to the Sankt Hans square. We have approximately 50+ people working out of the Copenhagen office, so will get a chance to put a name and a face on most of your new colleagues. We are based in Copenhagen, but most of our clients are large multinational companies with headquarters around Europe and the US. This means that we collaborate daily with remote-based colleagues, the New York office, client teams and other partners from around the globe.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Position is fulltime in the DK office [currently we’re working 2/5days in office, but this may change over time].
