Kraftvaerk is experiencing growth and we are looking for a talented architect with back-end background to our office in Aarhus. Architect would take part in technical dialogue and lead our business-critical solutions. We are currently specialized in integrated e-commerce, portals, websites, application development and cloud solutions. However, we are starting to look towards IoT, integrations and next tech projects to build onto of our existing capabilities.
We are looking for a technical guru, who can drive architecture projects that span across technologies and platforms. You are most likely very flexible, able to multitask and striving to find the best solution for each project. In Kraftvaerk you will execute on tech strategy by setting a good example and keep the technical menu relevant, updated and aligned with the overall tech strategy.
You will be working closely together with a team of best-in-class designers, strategists, QA specialists, developers and architects located in Helsinki, Copenhagen, Aarhus and Lisbon.
Your responsibilities:
- Architect and drive complex solutions, combining multiple technologies
- Ensure a high technical standard on selected architectures/platforms
- Define technical architectural principles along with head of architecture and tech leads
- Provide a high technical foundation on projects that spans across entire engagements
- Provide solid overarching documentation for the projects
- Seek to mitigate technical risks by selecting the right architecture on a project
- Seek continuously to improve on our tech offerings
- Ensure designed solutions adheres to industry-wide security standards
- Prevent decisions that will lead to poor design
- Ensure estimation for own and other's tasks are well-qualified and realistic
- Guide and supports more junior members of both own team and Kraftvaerk
- Educate others in the technical direction of own competency area
- Support remote teams across different geographical locations
Requirements:
- A deep technical understanding of technologies, platforms and paradigms
- MACH architecture, Headless CMS/eCommerce, Cloud (Azure/AWS)
- Advanced knowledge of C# development
- Proven experience in working on integrations, MACH architecture, Microservices, and cloud technologies
- Passionate and curious about technology – both known and upcoming
- Minimum 6 years of software development team experience
- Can translate business requirements into a technical platform/architecture
- Can quickly gather understanding of customers technical environments
- Can advise on downsides and upsides of a given architecture, both internally and externally
- Solid organizational skills, including exquisite attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proven experience with developing and delivering digital projects using an Agile methodology, with qualifications in Agile / Scrum methodologies preferred
- Proven experience of tackling difficult situations and handling blockers, with a pragmatic and empathic approach, both internally and client-facing
- Comfortable with handling multiple clients, projects and tasks simultaneously, working in a fast-paced environment
