Jorgensen Engineering is seeking a passionate Senior Automation Engineer for our international company. We develop advanced solutions for major players within the food, healthcare, and Electric Vehicle (EV) industries. Your Responsibilities
Reporting to our Automation Manager, your primary tasks will include:
- PLC and HMI programming - Primarily Siemens TIA, secondarily Rockwell/Allen Bradley
- Control system design and support for the sales organization
- Management of automation projects
- Simulation/emulation
- Customer dialogue
- Travel activity in connection with the commissioning of new systems at customers' sites (limited)
- FAT and SAT testing
You will become part of an interdisciplinary collaboration in a project-oriented organization, working closely with a diverse range of colleagues.
Your Background
You may have different pathways to this position, such as an electrician, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, or automation technologist. The most important thing is that you have a technical/electro-technical background with a strong understanding of the machinery industry. Good communication skills in English are necessary, and knowledge of additional languages would be advantageous. You thrive in a customer-oriented and international environment and place high value on interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.
