Your Responsibilities
Reporting to our Automation Manager, your pivotal responsibilities will revolve around projects catering specifically to Electric Vehicles (EV) clients. These encompass:

• PLC and HMI programming - Primarily Siemens TIA, secondarily Rockwell/Allen Bradley and Beckhoff
• Control system design
• Simulation/emulation
• Functional testing alongside assemblers and electricians
• Travel (50-75 days annually)
• Direct interactions with customers
• Overseeing the commissioning of new systems at client sites
• Coordination with assembly and electrical teams 'on site'
• SAT testing
• Operator training

Furthermore, your tasks will entail providing essential support to our sales team in selecting optimal solutions. You'll be immersed in an environment of interdisciplinary collaboration within a project-oriented structure, actively collaborating with diverse colleagues.

Your Background
To excel in this role, a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is essential. Your journey into this position could take various paths, such as through roles as an electrician, automation engineer, electrical engineer, or automation technologist. The critical factor lies in possessing a robust technical/electro-technical foundation and a profound understanding of the machinery sector. Proficiency in effective communication in English is non-negotiable, and competence in additional languages is a valuable asset. With a penchant for traversing diverse cultures and an affinity for customer-oriented and international contexts, you understand the utmost significance of interdisciplinary teamwork and shared knowledge. While prior experience is advantageous, your demonstrated 3-5 years of relevant experience is a must, showcasing your ability to navigate challenges in the field. A moderate willingness to travel, balanced with a commitment to excellence, is appreciated.
