Architect - German speaking

We are looking to hire an Architect, with 2 to 7 years of experience, who will be based in Zurich, Switzerland, working on-site with the entire project team. Experience with Swiss SIA standards is an advantage and proficiency in German is a requirement to apply.

Essential skills:

• Strong conceptual, design and graphic skills
• Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration
• Ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking
• Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods in the Switzerland
• Exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders, local authorities and approving bodies, and sub-consultants
• Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team
• Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project
• Should have strong ability with Rhino, Revit, Enscape, Adobe Suite
• Strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• The ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in response to direction from managers
• Great interpersonal communication skills
• A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working

Desirable Qualities and Skills:

• Professional qualification as an Architect or an equivalent qualification
• 2-7 years post qualification experience as an Architect/Designer
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and German - spoken and written
• Experience with Aviation and Swiss projects is a plus
