Join our expanding team of 30 professionals, with 20 based in Banja Luka and the rest at our Danish headquarters in Aarhus.

Job description
Venture into the dynamic world of SEO as an SEO Analyst at Obsidian Media. We are seeking an individual with an analytical mindset and technical savvy, who at the same time understands the value of good content and is able to empathize with and understand readers.

Reporting directly to the Head of Performance and being a part of a smaller SEO team, you will immerse yourself in an array of SEO projects, including content planning, keyword research, and SEO related optimizations across our portfolio of medias.

As the first person to step into this fresh and evolving role in our team in Banja Luka, you have a unique opportunity to shape your growth trajectory, free from any limitations. It’s a space where your initiative and passion aren’t just welcomed; they’re essential.

The tasks include:

• Planning and strategizing content in line with SEO goals
• Identifying and leveraging untapped, profitable opportunities and topics
• Conducting keyword research for new content and markets
• Crafting detailed content briefs to steer content creation
• Implementing SEO optimizations in articles to enhance their performance
• Collaborating actively with the Content and Partnerships teams on cross-functional projects

Who are you? And what qualifications do you need?
While you don’t need prior experience in SEO to succeed in this role, a genuine curiosity and a readiness to dive deep into the SEO landscape are highly valued. If you are tech-savvy and have a knack for analytical thinking, you’re the kind of person we’re looking for.

Even if you haven’t worked with tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and spreadsheets before, what’s important is your willingness to learn and adapt. We seek individuals who are not just adept at analyzing data for insights but also capable of understanding and meeting our readers’ perspectives and needs.

Your proactive approach, eagerness to learn and ability to quickly get up to speed with new systems and tasks will play a vital role in your success in this position.

The following is nice to have:

• Previous experience with content, copywriting, and/or SEO
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience in analyzing data and making data-driven decisions
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools
• Previous experience in research tasks and adeptness at conducting quick research with Google
