Position Overview:

Heimdal is seeking an experienced and hands-on Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to Head of the Product Marketing, this role will be responsible for driving the success of our cybersecurity products and solutions in the market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, and a passion for delivering customer-centric campaigns and initiatives.

Key Objectives:

  • Product Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and execute GTM strategies for new products, ensuring successful launches that meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the upkeep of our 10+ products and solutions, ensuring consistent messaging, positioning, and differentiation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product/Engineering, Sales/Sales Enablement, Customer Success Teams, and Channel teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Customer Advocacy: Conduct customer interviews for advocacy and win-loss analysis, leveraging insights to inform product and marketing decisions.
  • Upsell and Cross-Sell Campaigns: Drive customer upsell and cross-sell campaigns, identifying opportunities to increase revenue from existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing plans, including messaging, positioning, pricing, and distribution strategies.
  • Work closely with Product/Engineering teams to understand product features and benefits, translating technical details into compelling marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Enablement teams to create sales tools, training materials, and programs to enable successful product launches and sales efforts.
  • Conduct customer interviews and surveys to gather feedback, testimonials, and case studies for use in marketing materials.
  • Lead customer advocacy initiatives, including reference programs, customer stories, and testimonials.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop and manage product-related content, including blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, and social media content.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Skills and Attributes:

  • B2B Cybersecurity Industry Knowledge:
    Deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry, including threats, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong focus on understanding customer needs and preferences.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making.
  • Project Management: Effective project management skills to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Presentation Skills: Comfortable presenting to both internal teams and external clients.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred);
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on the cybersecurity industry;
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and marketing campaigns.
