The department – Security Operations Center
As our IT Operations Manager you will become a part of Technical Services department. The department covers teams with different technical focus areas. The functions and different positions are well structured and defined, and it is expected of everyone to lend a helpful hand, when the others are in need. The assignments can be both routine-based and differ from day to day.

The position
As IT Operations Manager, you will be part of a passionate team in Dubex, consisting of three members, where you will act as the technical lead on internal operations. Referring to the Chief Technical Operations Officer, it is your responsibility to maintain, develop and optimize internal systems, servers, and networks, ensuring performance stability, together with your operational team.

You will work together with others to ensure that among other the network, firewalls, proxys, monitoring systems, endpoints and other internal IT systems are stable and performing optimal, by assisting with configurations and operational excellence. With your operational mindset and great overview of Dubex’ operational infrastructure, you will guarantee thorough reporting, handling, and prevention of any incident.

The IT environment is primary on-prem, with O365 and AutoTask in cloud. It is expected that you bring technical knowledge and a curiosity for new trends within this field, to enable continuous improvements.

In line with Dubex’ development, you will be involved in various projects across the organization. This includes assisting in final stages of relocating all servers across multiple data locations. You will also participate in internal audits, where you will have an important task of improving planning and levels of documentation, ensuring more thorough descriptions on changes requests.

Dubex offers a great flexibility in terms of remote work and great opportunities to become part of projects across the organisation within offensive security, incident response, MDR etc., depending on your interest.

As part of a 24/7/365 organisation, it is expected that you provide a helping hand, whenever needed.

Primary responsibilities

• Manage operations with focus on windows, patch management, N-able, ESX, VMware, O365, internal mail servers, VEEAM, fil server, NAS, and SAN.
• Lead planning, development and optimization of servers and networks together with operational teams.
• Configuration and operations of switches, external BGP lines, firewalls and proxys, together with network teams.
• Support the monitoring team in daily operations of SIEM platform.
• Support IT team in terms of users, endpoints, and cybersecurity products.
• Continuous maintenance, configuration, and replacement of equipment (hardware, disks etc.)
• Participate in various projects across the organization.

Professional qualifications

• Experience from a position as a system administrator, operations consultant/specialist and/or a similar role.
• Experience with operating: Windows integration, VMware, IT security services.
• Experience with Windows integration / Active Directory/Azure/O365.
• Knowledge on network, SIEM, Linux, BGP lines are considered an advantage.
• Knowledge on cloud infrastructure is considered an advantage.
