Your contribution

As a Mechanical Engineer at Jorgensen Engineering, you will play a crucial role in designing and maturing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. You will join one of our highly skilled and multidisciplinary empowered segment teams working with technologies in either the Infant Formula, Loading-Onloading, or Electrical Vehicle industries.

Your key responsibilities

• Development or maturing of complex machinery and/or variants of existing machinery.
• Design adaptations of existing machinery and standard solutions for new customer projects.
• Mechanical design and creation of production drawings, parts lists, and other technical documentation.
• Support for Project Managers, Sales Managers, your team, and rest of the organization, through technical guidance time-estimations.
• Dimensioning and calculation of system components and documentation hereof.
• Ensure quality in solutions through interdisciplinary reviews and stakeholder involvement.
• Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables through open and proactive communication and collaboration with colleagues.

Your Profile and Qualifications
You are characterized by a high level of energy, talent, and a comfort with a fast-paced environment that focuses on efficient execution and achieving sharp deadlines. You are proactive and capable of working both independently and in teams. Furthermore, you are goal-oriented with the perseverance required to ensure the completion of both technical and administrative tasks.

You should be able to tick most of the following boxes:

• Strong technical background with an MSc/BSc degree in mechanic engineering, mechatronics, or related fields
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar industries
• Skilled in system and 3D mechanical design and development of complex and dynamic machinery
• Ability to independently seek information when in doubt.
• Strong stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration in project teams and project stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated, conscientious, and works efficiently.
