Your new role
As an experienced software developer, we expect you will take responsibility for implementing tasks of medium to high complexity, actively contributing to our software architecture and cross-team collaborations. Depending on your experiences and interests, you will build new features for our existing platform, and drive and contribute to new initiatives that can take our software development processes to new and greater heights.
Additionally, you will…
- Own your tasks from beginning to end, including partaking in the design of the solution with our UX team and product owners– because who knows, maybe your idea is better? We’d like to know!
- Assist in improving our architecture and the reduction of technical debt
- Drive and contribute to new initiatives such as IaC, DevOps, CI/CD
- Bring new ideas to the table to help us improve – either through code, processes or something entirely different!
Our tech
Built on a distributed cloud system featuring AWS and ElasticSearch, our main codebase consists of C#, Angular and TypeScript. If you dig around enough you might also discover a hidden bit of C++ from way back when (and also maybe some less-than optimized code we’d love to fix).
We aim offer our customers and users new features and an improved product continuously, and in order to meet this goal, the development is characterized by agile methodologies and loosely defined time estimates, with approximately six annual releases.
Your background
We believe you...
- Have strong experience in Software Development (experience with C# .NET and Angular is a plus).
- Have a solid theoretical foundation from a degree in computer science, engineering, IT or similar.
- Value security, maintainability and reliability in delivered work.
- Are proactive, solution-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
But most important is your ambitious attitude towards your continuous learning and development, and the wish to actively participate in the development of our products.
What to expect as a Daluxian
Our flat organization, where the way from idea to product is short combined with creative freedom and a high level of trust in your work, ensures that you will be able to create tangible value for our users.
You will become a part of a highly skilled team of passionate and young individuals driven by the wish to explore new and reshape existing technologies. Everyday life is characterized by sparring between colleagues, room to be yourself, with monthly social events and various clubs to mix professional development with fun.
As Dalux is a software company, we want half of the company to consist of Software Developers. All our software development happens at our head office at Vibenshuset in Copenhagen.
Ready for the next step
If the description above and Dalux sounds like a place where you could develop and contribute to the high-quality software, we would gladly accept your application. We will be having ongoing interviews.
