About the position:

Schneider Electric, in Kolding is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Software Platform Team. You will play a critical role in shaping the cloud infrastructure that underpins our solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain cloud-based platforms that drive innovation and reliability. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and make a meaningful impact in driving sustainable energy solutions worldwide.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Cloud Implementation: Build, Deploy and maintain Cloud services, virtual machines, databases, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform & Ansible to automate the provisioning.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud resources for optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security controls and compliance standards and conduct regular security assessments and audits.
• Incident Response: Provide expertise in incident response and participate in on-call rotations.
• Several years experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with expertise in Azure and/or AWS Cloud Platform.
• Strong background in cloud-native technologies, containerization, and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of GitOps philosophy and Linux
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
