Position Overview:

As the Manager for Analytical Development, you will lead a team of more than 10 chemist and 10 talented technicians, overseeing analytical method development, validation, stability test and troubleshooting activities across Fertins product development pipeline. You will play a crucial role in delivery of department milestones in new products projects, ensuring product quality via analytical work, and maintaining compliance across our different registration regimes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of analytical chemists and laboratory technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Ensure effective method development and validation processes, with reference compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Product development.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to analytical chemistry in the pharmaceutical sector.

• Actively participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for R&D projects related to analytical development.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a R&D setting, with a focus on analytical chemistry.

• Proven leadership experience, with successfully managing high-performing teams.

• Knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and spectroscopy.

• Experience in method development, validation, and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, ICH, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

• Able to write and speak advanced Danish.
