DevOps Team Lead

Your new role
Being our new DevOps Team Lead, you will be an essential part in enhancing the developer experience and our productivity as we scale up. You will be leading the team in building and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines as well as spreading best practices of DevOps and general software engineering.

The Team Lead plays a central role in Dalux product development and is responsible for running their own team. This means leading and coordinating and motivating the team, while relying on a development manager for personnel management.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Clarify requirements and discuss strategy and content with your Product Owner.
• Create area specific technical and architectural solutions together with team members.
• Execute planning activities with the Product Owner and the team.
• Mentor and coach developers.
• Onboard & train new team members from a technical and process perspective.
• Release components and internal products as needed.
• Keep the team Sprint Backlog up to date​ and ensure a good task flow in the sprint.
• Continuously work to improve Dalux by sharing and implementing new ideas.

To supplement our DevOps team, we have a dedicated DevOps guild helping with implementing best practices and sharing experiences across Dalux. Our development is characterized by a very pragmatic agile methodology with frequent releases. We apply the same pragmatism to DevOps and once value is demonstrated we are able to implement changes with great success.

About you
You have a background as Software Developer and an educational background within Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. You have experience with DevOps and see this as your strongest asset, but still enjoy coding. Ideally, you have been part of driving DevOps transformations previously and have a keen eye for CI and/or CD.

Who is Dalux?
Founded in 2005, Dalux is a Danish software company build on a foundation of geometric processing and 3D computer graphics. As a Contech company our products are aimed at making the construction industry smarter and more efficient.
