The Cable Package Manager is responsible for the offshore installation of high-voltage power cables covering the logistics from production site to installation site, site survey, load-out, installation and commissioning activities.
The position requires you to be self-driven, motivated, team orientated and with sound experience in project procurement and project delivery phases.
Description of the position, key responsibility, and tasks:
- Manage the supply of the array and offshore export cables.
- Oversee the interfaces to the onshore works and the cable T&I package.
- Manage the procurement of cable supply.
- Ensure budgets and payment plans are prepared.
- Ensure the team is motivated and prepared.
- Report to the general management on cable supply elements.
- Ensure that contingency plans are being developed as required to ensure the delivery on time or with as little impact to program as possible.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who ideally holds the below qualifications:
- Relevant Engineering degree.
- Experienced track record with cable package management.
- Experienced in supply and installation of offshore HV cables.
- Experienced within marine engineering.
- Project manager profile.
- Proficient in both written and oral English communication.
- Experience within procurement, contract and claim management.
