We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our Global Service Procurement team.

Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Procurement > Service Solution Procurement
You will become part of a creative global procurement team covering Cranes and Maintenance for the Vestas Service Business globally. We pride ourselves on treating each other with respect and supporting each other to stay focused, committed, and motivated at all times. You will be reporting to the Head of Service Solution Procurement in Vestas, located in Aarhus, Denmark.

Responsibilities
Your everyday activities will be characterized by high speed and the requirement to engage in, direct and prioritize between multiple critical projects. Overall expected deliverables include:

• Developing the long-term strategic direction and vision for the Cranes and Maintenance commodity
• Provide clear leadership, personal and professional development support for the purchasers in your team, currently 3 procurement professionals
• Build a close relationship with key suppliers in the commodity and continue to deliver value through long term supplier account management and partnerships
• Secure service requirements within Cranes and Maintenance are an integral part of module teams
• Build and define the future Service supply base for service within Cranes and Maintenance in close collaboration with key stakeholders globally and in the regions
• Work closely with the Matrix Regional organization on the Strategy Execution
• Reduce complexity both in number of suppliers and part numbers

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with strategic procurement
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
• Experience with handling large yearly procurement budgets (300MEUR)
• Advanced IT skills (proficient with Microsoft Office Package, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
• We welcome experience within the wind industry
• Fluency in English

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Aarhus, Denmark. Travel to suppliers and key stakeholders expected to be approximately 30 days per year mainly within Europe
