As the Senior ServiceNow Developer you will be part of our Global Service organization and be responsible for Development and continuous improvement of applications on the ServiceNow platform for VIKING’s business users, VIKING’s Digital organization and customers. Staying up-to-date on new trends and opportunities within the ServiceNow platform, and presenting these to manager and business partners.

Based at our office in Zamin Pallavaram, Chennai you will be responsible for the ServiceNow development.

You will report to the IT Hub Manager and be part of the Global Business Service (IT Hub) in Chennai, India.

Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Development and continuous improvement of applications on the ServiceNow platform for VIKING’s business users, VIKING’s Digital organization and customers
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform.
• Securing platform compliance and performance optimization to keep it up-to-date, fully operational and in best possible condition at any time.
• Governance in terms of following internal processes, standards and documentation.
• Staying up to date on new trends and possibilities within the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform according to requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• End-user support
• Documentation, incl. technical documentation and end user documentation
• Keeping up to date on ServiceNow platform and technology

Your profile
The prerequisites for success in the position are that you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Experience with ServiceNow workflows, forms, and reports.
• Experience with CSM, ITSM and CMDB modules.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations.
• Excellent communication skills.

You will work closely with other departments and colleagues, therefore you are great at communication and working across the organization. On a personal level we expect you to be responsive and positive, with a ''can do'' attitude, detail oriented and precise team player.

Since our corporate language is English, you have great English skills – both written and orally.
