The Global IT Team at Configit is looking for a new sidekick to assist in maintaining a reliable and secure infrastructure for their global organization. The role also involves contributing to the enhancement of existing IT services and technologies within a Cloud-based business environment.

Do you have solid experience with Azure and related technologies? Would you love to be responsible for the IT infrastructure and services of an almost 100% cloud company, as part of a self-managed team? Are you passionate about collaborating in projects and getting things done?

Configit Global IT has a self-managed team structure, reporting to the CFO, which provides a lot of flexibility and freedom with high degree of accountability and responsibility. They are on a great journey, supporting the business and colleagues in the best possible way. You will be one of two key people responsible for the Microsoft Azure infrastructure, core services and architecture ensuring maximum possible service availability.

You will act as trusted advisor on how to keep Configit at cutting-edge technology and what new technologies and services to implement, as well as optimizing existing landscapes.

The job is iat the headquarter in Denmark – they are an international software company with offices in Germany, the US, the UK, and India.

Through cooperation with clients and partners, Configit takes pride in helping organizations with complex configuration problems, as well as helping to shape the future of configuration software.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Undertake all necessary activities to ensure the operation of the Configit Azure tenant and the core services (Azure AD, Azure Infrastructure, Intune, MFA, Conditional Access, Office365, SharePoint)
• Making sure Global IT is operating within the ITIL Foundation framework, ISO27001 and default factory standards. Establish zero-trust in the basic security setup in the Configit tenant
• Work with colleagues in Cloud Operations and developers to ensure they have a suitable setup
• Keep yourself updated on Microsoft technologies and advise on improvements and possible changes and developments
• Be a key person in the Configit ISMS organization/ISO 27001
• Shared responsibility for 2nd level support on Microsoft Azure core services
• Lead internal IT projects, such as:
• Monitoring Azure resources
• Enrol Windows 11
• Endpoint Privilege Management
• Mobile Application Management
• As it is a small team, you will be the back-up for colleagues during absence

Your profile

You are structured, well organised and have strong communication and problem-solving skills. You are proactive, pragmatic and come with a can-do attitude. You take pride in helping and supporting your colleges worldwide and it is important that you like getting things done and take charge of some of the most important projects.

• You are a Microsoft Azure certified expert with 3+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure and security
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science or similar
• You have a proven track record in IT project management experience and underlying project methodologies
• Ideally, you have the ITIL foundation certificate
• You have strong communication and problem-solving skills
• You are proactive with a can-do attitude to bring value to your stakeholders
• You enjoy a flexible way of working
• You have full proficiency in English
