Auditor Manager Trading, Post-trade and Financial Risk

About the Job:

Group Internal Audit in Saxo Bank is responsible for carrying out risk-based operational audits across the Bank and its subsidiaries. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, GIA helps to ensure that the Bank effectively manages and mitigates the risks associated with its business activities.

We are now looking to add an Internal Audit Manager, with special focus on conducting audits within both our Front and Back Office functions, including Financial, Liquidity and Capital risks.

Responsibility:

As an audit manager in GIA you will be working in a team of experienced auditors and you will, among other, be responsible for:

• Designing risk-based audit programs for this specific area of the bank
• Carrying out audit work to evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes
• Develop recommendations to strengthen controls and address risks
• Presenting findings and preparing written reports for stakeholders
• Following up on recommendations to ensure that risks identified are addressed.

Your profile:

As a person you are known for your professionalism, integrity and trustworthiness. You are collaborative by nature but, where necessary, you are willing to challenge the status quo in a constructive manner. While you are detail oriented, you are able to see through complexity and summarise issues clearly and concisely.

The ideal candidate has the following experience and qualifications:

• + 3-5 years working experience in auditing, controlling and/or risk management
• Knowledge of financial risks and controls associated with banking and trading activities
• Knowledge of financial products and knowledge of the full trading lifecycle would be beneficial
• It would be a clear advantage to have knowledge or experience regarding Client Asset Protection (“Bekendtgørelse om organisatoriske krav for værdipapirhandlere”)
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
