Then we hope you will join our Finished Goods Manufacturing Science & Technology (FG MSAT) team!

Your New Role
Currently, FDBD are in the process of purchasing a new packaging line to upgrade our capabilities and capacities for both future and existing customers. Here you will play a key role engaging with the chosen vendors to ensure that the solutions chosen are tried-and-tested and based on industry best practice.

In the end you will be driving the equipment through a science and risk-based qualification process, where you will be part of ensuring that the vendor’s documentation and expertise are leveraged throughout.

Main tasks

  • Be a hands-on technical expert and resource on designing, commissioning, and qualifying our packaging line for pen-devices, prefilled syringes, and other products.
  • Work closely with equipment vendors ensuring that the solutions chosen are best-in-class, based on proven technologies and concepts, and fit the flexibility needed for achieving our goal of being a world-class CDMO offering an end-to-end service for our partners
  • Represent the company to both existing and prospective customers in a SME capacity
  • Engage with our customers as a key player, when doing tech transfers (introduction new products to our production) and drive the upgrade of equipment as our customers’ needs develops.
  • As a technical expert involved in the establishment of new production capacities and capabilities in Denmark and US you can expect a certain amount of travel activity both domestically and internationally, around 10-30 days per year
  • Be a part of the ongoing support to our running production in terms of handling critical issues and participating in the implementation of both technical and operational improvements.
  • Engage in systematic problem solving on our shopfloor together with your colleagues as technical expert.
  • Drive both improvement activities and minor projects and challenge the current state of things.
  • We take a science and risk-based approach to the way we operate, both in relation to projects and their validation activities and in relation to running operations. As FG MSAT is the owner of all Finished Goods processes, it will therefore be your opportunity and responsibility to drive this approach when collaborating with our colleagues in the organization and our customers.

Your Skills & Talents

  • Relevant education; such as Mechanical Engineering or similar STEM education,
  • A solid foundation for your 5-10 years of experience with finished goods processes and projects, preferably at least two years of production experience.
  • Experience from a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is an expectation.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and Danish (spoken and written).

Your New Team & Department
You will join a team of 8-10 engineers and specialists based in Hillerød, Denmark. In FDBD FG MSAT is Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies’ main center of knowledge concerning finished goods processes and equipment.

FDBD FG MSAT has a large responsibility in the support of the ongoing establishment of a new FDB-production site in Holly Springs, North Carolina, US, where we engage in a supporting role to the organization being established locally. Here we again bring into play our knowledge and experience to ensure that the processes established locally in US are aligned with the processes existing in Hillerød.
