Senior Bid Engineer

Job-Link is looking for a proactive, customer and technical focused Senior Bid Project Engineer.
Our customer is a global support organization with the purpose of delivering engineering, supply and project management within a wide range of applications and industries. The company is a global company with offices and employees across the world.

The department is designing, engineering, and suppling customized units for the i.e. Oil & gas, Power, Mining, Chemical, Pulp & Paper and metalworking industries by using high-performance products like Plate Heat Exchanges, High Speed Separator, decanter etc.

The role as Bid Engineer is of the highest priority in ENS, since every well delivered customer project starts with a well-executed quote.

Our activities are divided into the following product areas desalinated water, industrial wastewater, chemical evaporation, and high-speed separation.

You will be part of a team of Project Managers & Engineers who deliver projects on time, cost & spec to achieve satisfied stakeholders and to develop the department.

The team delivers projects all over the world, with supply chains mainly in Europe & China, engineering team in India and sales teams in Sweden & Denmark.

Your main responsibility will be:
As engineer in our Bid team, you will deliver bids for all areas, but for this position your focus will be projects related to our High-Speed Separator (HSS) customer projects.

• Together with Global sales develop the concept design for the quote.
• Prepare the quotation based on the concept design and the bid process requirement driven by quality, risk, competitiveness, and optimal resource utilization.
• Responsible to handle the bid project from handover from Global Sales to contract is signed.
• Responsible for coordinating/managing the resource allocation and strategic planning during Bid period.

In cooperation with procurement finding and evaluating suppliers to optimize our competitiveness.

Your qualifications and experience:
We’re looking for a mechanical or process engineer, with strong technical background, you have several years (6+) working experience as project engineer and/or in quotation works. You may not be an expert in our products, but you should have proven the ability to be a fast learner. You have a graduate degree in engineering or equivalent and you are fluent in written and verbal English.

As Bid engineer you need to be a communicative person who builds relationships. You have a “can do” attitude and are flexible
