We are looking for an experienced colleague with a proven track record within Technical Design, to join our Mechanical Team in the R&D Department.
About the Position:
As a Technical Designer at NEL hydrogen you will be working full time developing 3D/2D designs and documentation. You will have varied days working in different areas such as Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Electrical and Process.
You will be a key player in gaining experience from other parts of the organization such as Service, Production, Product Integrity, and Installation.
The position is based in our R&D Department in Herning, Denmark.
Responsibilities and authority:
Ideally you hold a bachelor or a technical degree in mechanical engineering. On top of that we imagine the ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience from a technology driven company within the field of renewable energy solutions and / or hydrogen fueling technology.
- Is an advanced 3D/2D CAD user. Preferably Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, Autocad, Solidworks or 3D Plant.
- Experience with Engineering Change Management systems. (ECM –> ECR, ECO, ECN)
- Experience with developing reliable systems using methods like DFMEA, PFMEA etc.
- Experience with PED, ASME, P&ID. (Will be an advantage)
- Experience with a planning tool such as JIRA or similar.
- Experience from an international company. (Working abroad will be an advantage)
Personal characteristics:
You are technically well-founded and curious by heart. Experience with both 2D and 3D modeling is a must. You are swift to familiarize yourself with technical issues and manage to see the “right and nice” solution.
You have a structural way of working and you can handle multiple tasks. Flexible as a person and able to navigate in a dynamic work environment. Apart from that you possess:
- Excellent communication skills.
- An outgoing personality who knows how to maneuver in a technical organization on all levels.
- The ability to see the “big picture”.
- Interdisciplinary engineering knowledge.
- Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
