Your New Role
You will be responsible for governance of SAP Finance together with Corporate Accounting. You will also ensure the functionality and processes in the SAP system are aligned with US GAAP accounting principles and best practices. Furthermore, you will be the Finance SAP Global Process Lead, which is the link between Finance and the IT-SAP team on changes and updates to SAP. As Finance SAP Global Process Lead, you will coordinate discussions with all Finance SAP site process leads to share knowledge, discuss pain points, and prioritize enhancement requests.

This role can be based at any of our 5 locations. Benefits and compensation will be governed by the location that you are based at and considered your home site.

Your Main tasks

• Responsible for governance of SAP Finance and correlated business process, including ownership of processes for finance SAP master data, Group chart of accounts.
• Responsible for training of finance team in relevant SAP processes including master data and other key finance functions, including training and roll out of standard SAP reports. Lead projects to focus on use of SAP reports or extraction to optimize the use of SAP.
• Be the SAP functionality specialist for central finance functions and finance team, supporting resolution of technical SAP issues. This includes focus on improving how the systems work and corresponding business processes; also finding the best solutions that support accounting processes, including focus on process automation in SAP.
• SAP Global Process Lead (GPL) - act as the link between Finance and IT-SAP on finance changes and updates to SAP. Ensure standardization in approach to change, including clear instructions and well described processes to finance users. Ensuring harmonized processes and requested changes to the system are prioritised and have been confirmed to provide appropriate business value.
• Support Group reporting with continuous improvement of knowledge and use of current systems. Improve standardized reporting across FDB and maximize the use of existing software across FDB.

Skills & Talents, we hope you possess

• Professional Accounting and SAP experience with experience in a global and International role.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience within finance and SAP with larger corporation.
• Ability to drive change and alignment across the FDB Group with the right problem solving attitude.
• Facilitate and help set the direction on the use of SAP finance system.
• Experience of working with multisite, multinational organisations on different time zones
• Fluent in English

Your New Team
You will be part of the Corporate Accounting department in the newly established Central Finance Unit. The Central Finance Unit is focused on providing FDB wide services including Corporate Accounting, Internal Controls, Central Controlling, Central reporting and ERP and finance systems management.

The unit is currently being developed and will consist of a team of highly skilled, professional, and dedicated employees with a broad range of experience within finance, controlling and reporting.

The Unit consist of four different departments Corporate Accounting, Group Financial controlling, Reporting and Finance IT Systems & Maintenance, and is a part of the finance organization.
