We are currently looking for a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manager to join our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Department at Green Hydrogen Systems.

Your key responsibilities
In the position as SHE Manager, you will be supporting our entire organisation in a culture where ‘’Safety First’’ and ‘’Right First Time’’ serve as guidelines to ensure the right direction for health, safety and environmental compliance. Together with the Senior Director for SHEQ, you will be responsible for establishing policies that create and maintain a safe workplace in our production, office facilities and sites.

Your main tasks and deliveries will include:

  • Creating and implementing Health, Safety and Environment procedures.
  • Daily monitoring, reporting, and coordination of SHE related issues.
  • Driving the risk assessment process and follow up on action plans.
  • Leading the SHE related campaigns and activities.
  • Conducting SHE audits and inspections.
  • Coaching colleagues in SHE matters to constantly foster a safety-first culture.
  • Creating, performing, recording and follow up on SHE training.
  • Updating, reporting, and following up on SHE KPI’s.
  • Supporting and driving the safety organisation.
  • Serving as the go-to person for SHE matters in general.

Who are you?
To succeed in this position, you have solid and practical experience working with Safety, Health, and Environment in an international manufacturing company. It is considered and advantage if you have experience from the building or process industry.

Furthermore, your practical experience is characterised by:

  • Knowledge of industrial safety systems (machine safety), tools, and methods.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and risk assessments.
  • Experience with Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) implementation.
  • Understanding of environment and workplace legislation.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards (knowledge of ISO 9001 is an additional advantage).
  • High-level proficiency in Danish and English.
  • Leadership responsibility in various SHE projects.

On a personal level you are positive, proactive, and energetic. You have a drive and eagerness to improve, and it comes naturally to you to work hands-on and effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders within the organisation. Additionally, you have a natural ability to identify opportunities for improvements and implement various health, safety and environment programs.
