Novo Nordisk Global IT is looking for an Application Security Architect to work within the Global Information Security organisation.
Global IT consists of more than 400 highly skilled IT professionals responsible for all major IT projects, systems, infrastructure and operations in Novo Nordisk. The Global Information Security department is currently about 60 people. The global IT landscape in Novo Nordisk covers more than 40.000 clients worldwide, with major business processes covered by corporate systems based on SAP, Siebel, Microsoft and Oracle.
About the department
The Global Information Security organisation is mandated to secure the NN IT landscape. You will be employed in Global Security Operations that consists of teams in Denmark, USA and India. The activity level is high, and many major initiatives and projects are ongoing, making this an exciting place to work.
The position
You will be employed to take on a range of initiatives in order to protect applications and data and working with application development teams to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities to code but also to underlying services. This role will be responsible for advising development teams on applying security concepts and testing during software development lifecycle. Consequently, you must have experience using security software to perform and enable others to perform testing of code and applications.
Our new colleague will also have a good understanding of overall technical security topics and be aware of the latest threats that we face. You must have an inquisitive mindset and be willing to search for the answer which you may not know.
The job is based in Copenhagen, Denmark but some travel activity is anticipated.
Qualifications
You are analytical, pragmatic, and detail oriented. You have experience working within development organizations and feel comfortable with SDLC and Agile frameworks. Automation of code security testing comes easy to you from past engagements or projects. You have used software tools like HP Fortify, Burp Suite, Acunetix, and operational experience using AzureDevOps and Jira is a plus.
You feel at home having discussions with developers about vulnerabilities found in code and best practices. It is important to be organized and be able to coordinate multiple tests with business areas.
Due to the nature of the role, your communication in written and verbal form, must be concise and clear, to avoid misunderstanding and confusion. It will be required to collaborate with business areas as well as your security colleagues. Fluency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite.
The ability to understand complex IT environments, experience working inside global companies, and working with service delivery and vendor management are an advantage.
It goes without saying that you are a team player, happy to share information, workload, and experience.
