We are one of the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms in Europe and we are now looking for a Global Director of Creator Platform to join our Copenhagen office.

This is the role
Podimo was founded to build a better model for podcast creators. We must ensure creators are fairly rewarded for the value they are bringing to so many people around the world. Relying solely on advertising works well for only a few top shows, and in many markets and for many shows, it doesn't really work at all. In addition, we have an opportunity to build - in collaboration with our creators - a product experience that elevates the relationship between creators, their shows and their listeners.

This is why we are looking for a Global Director of Creator Platform to develop our strategy to attract more and more diverse creators to Podimo and ensure they are getting the most from Podimo and our users.

The role is located in Copenhagen and is reporting directly to our CCO, Sachin Doshi.

Your main responsibilities in this role:

• Work with local teams to structure processes and tools to engage existing and prospective creators: including data sharing, business reviews, events and community development.
  
• Develop creator education programs in conjunction with our local content teams.
  
• Build out our podcast studios strategy to ensure we are getting value from our facilities and to encourage creator development and collaboration in our markets.
  
• Develop and maintain a communication model between Product and creators to ensure we can collaborate with them on research, and product development and ultimately execute product launches.
  
• Develop and maintain a communication model between Growth and creators to build listenership and engagement around the shows.
  
• Evolve our self-serve tools and economic incentives to encourage non-exclusive creators to engage with Podimo and share Podimo with their listeners.
  
• Drive evolution of creator-facing surfaces including the consumer website and Podimo Studio.

Experience we’re looking for:

• +6 years of experience within the creator economy with a thorough understanding of how to manage and maximise the value of a creator platform
  
• Experience from two-sided media platforms where you’ve developed creator tools/platforms and built communities
  
• A strategic and diverse mindset that thrives in the space between creators and consumers (listeners), adding value through experience and curiosity
  
• Project management experience and the ability to drive progress and make sure deadlines are met.
  
• Strong understanding of content insights and data, with an ability to create action from those insights
  
• Experience in working globally with a wide range of stakeholders in local markets, ensuring open and honest collaboration and efficient processes.
  
• Experience developing requirements for, and collaborating with, engineering and product teams to launch community features that resonate with the creator platform vision
  
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal as you’ll be part of an international organisation.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
