A key role in the renewable and maritime sector
We specialize in four business areas where our experience and investments in the green transition create value for the customers:

  • Ship - maritime cluster and shipyard industry
  • Energize - production and logistics within offshore wind
  • Innovate - innovation and testing
  • Repurpose - recycling and decommissioning

As International Sales Manager, you willl be instrumental in driving Odense Port's international sales strategy across our four core business areas. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, cultivating key relationships, and positioning Odense Port as the premier destination for offshore wind, maritime services worldwide and heavy logistics – in Denmark and internationally.

As International Sales Manager you will undertake a wide variety of tasks:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Denmark and in key international markets, leveraging Odense Port's unique strengths and capabilities
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing and new clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and enhance our reputation as a trusted leader within the offshore wind sector, the maritime industry, and within heavy logistics
  • Collaborate closely with our high performing commercial team to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceed client expectations
  • Represent Odense Port at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our offerings and forge valuable connections

Personal and professional qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in international solution sales within offshore wind or the maritime sectors preferred, but there could definitely be other relevant B2B industries
  • Your background can be Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results independently
  • Fluent in English and Danish
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
