At Arcane Tinmen, we develop, sell and distribute the world-famous brand Dragon Shield – which consists of trading card and game accessories plus digital services to gamers – to a community of dedicated and passionate players from all over the world. We are geeks, and we are proud of it. We play Magic, table football and ping pong in our breaks.

We hope that you are interested in our niche segment. Nevertheless, one thing is certain: a whole new world will open before your eyes once you join 40 dedicated colleagues at our magical office in Braband. On top of that, we also offer flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home.

Make your magic within the field of product management
As our new product manager, you will join a team of 10, which consists of product developers as well as graphic and industrial designers. Together, we are on a quest to create amazing products that enhance the gaming experience of trading card enthusiasts worldwide.

Working with both existing and new categories, your primary focus will be on driving revenue and market growth by identifying and capitalising on market trends and customer needs. Doing so, you will also collaborate closely with the product development team, sales, procurement and marketing. The responsibilities include market research, business case and concept development, post-launch monitoring and improvement, ensuring the product’s success and ongoing relevance in the market.

More specifically, you will:

  • Define our product vision, goals and road map based on market insights
  • Transform data from e.g., user surveys into the decision basis of new product development and present these insights to top management
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and plans for new product launches and coordinate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Identify product requirements and priorities based on customer feedback and business cases
  • Monitor the progress of product development and make necessary adjustments as well as recommendations for improvements

You can expect 10-15 travel days per year, attending conferences, workshops and other industry-related trips.

A product management wizard with a commercial mindset
You have a proven track record of success within product management accompanied by deep knowledge of product development processes, market analysis and competitive intelligence. This enables you to think outside the box and spot areas of improvement.

Moreover, you are a natural when it comes to leading people and optimising processes as part of a collaborative culture. This also means that you can collaborate with stakeholders on all levels as well as communicate effectively with executives and customers.

Additionally, you can see yourself in the following:

  • You hold a master’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
  • You have an interest in the world of (card) gaming and/or may have a hobby as e.g. a cosplayer, collector of comic books or something similarly geeky
  • You can demonstrate proficiency in project management tools and software
  • You are fluent in English – Danish is an advantage but not a requirement

Arcane Tinmen was founded in 1999 as two Danish gamers gave life to the Dragon Shield Brand. The initial purpose of the Dragon Shield brand was to provide high quality sleeves for trading card games in a reliable way. A task no other had accomplished. Since then, Arcane Tinmen has grown rapidly to house a wide variety of premium gaming and collector accessories.
