SUEZ Water A/S Denmark is part of the Business Unit Europe & Central Asia at SUEZ, who is looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan

Suez Water A/S in Denmark is part of a a global company in the design, construction and operation of water treatment and recyclable resources facilities.

We are looking for an experienced Contract Execution Director to lead and execute projects in Denmark, Scandinavia and abroad. You will work from our office in Aarhus South and can expect to travel in Denmark/Scandinavia and to our colleagues in e.g. Paris.

Your area of responsibility:
- -You will lead/support a team of project managers and engineers in the department and work closely with the parent company in Paris.

- -You will be responsible for executing your own complex projects within water treatment and environmental protection in one of the world's largest environmental companies.

- -You will contribute to and develop the administrative tasks and procedures that come from the parent company.

- -You will be part of a strong organization in a large international project and operations company, where you will be responsible for all projects and collaboration with customers and colleagues in Scandinavia.

- -You will manage the relevant employees and take full responsibility for SUEZ's contracts, which always include the entire technical package and often also building structures. You are thus both technically and financially responsible for the completion of the projects on time in close cooperation / sparring with your project managers.

- -You will have a great deal of freedom to carry out the projects, and as a project manager you are commercially responsible to customers as well as internal and external partners.

- -You will also enter into agreements with subcontractors and maintain close contact with the client.

- -In addition, you must participate in and develop the administrative tasks and procedures that come from the parent company regarding project execution/economics, HSE etc. so that SUEZ Water A/S is always compliant with the parent company's rules.

The project sum is a 2-3 digit million amount. However, the most important thing is not the size of the amount, but rather the complexity of the projects. We are often part of larger consortia with extensive contracts and high demands on contract management, collaboration, documentation, control and reporting.

What types of projects do you handle?

At Suez, we work with advanced water treatment, designing and building systems for both industrial and municipal customers - often in consortia with strong construction companies. These systems provide either clean drinking water, clean wastewater or clean process water in industry. We use many different types of technologies for water purification or resource management, and we work with a number of subcontractors.

Suez's Danish and international engineering teams design and build the buildings and technical facilities. In some cases, we also take over the operation of the plant after commissioning. Customers are typically large industrial companies within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, chemicals, utilities and public projects for hospitals etc.

Which skills and experiences you will need to succeed in this role?

Requirements:
- -Engineering Master’s degree

- +10 years’ experience in project management of large technical projects and complex tasks in some form of turnkey contracts.

- -Ideally have experience in water treatment and/or in the energy industry, utilities, ports, the technical part of the construction industry, the process industry or other relevant industry.

- -Strong writing and reporting skills and enjoy documenting your project management

- -Good time management, financial follow-up and able to produce accurate reports.

- -Skilled negotiator who diplomatically handles challenges throughout the process - both internally and externally.

- -Structure, planning and financial skills

- -Leadership to get a team on board and balance certainty and speed in decision-making.

- - Driven, global vision and able to delegate.

- -Ready for a leadership role as a Project Manager / Execution Manager for a portfolio of projects and people.

- -Speak and write English and preferably also Danish.
