Napatech is seeking an ambitious Hardware Development Engineer as our hardware team expands with the launch of new networking products, including cutting-edge SmartNICs and IPUs/DPUs.

The Role:
Join a team committed to advancing high-speed data communication technology. In this role, you will:

• Take responsibility for specific technology areas, applying a proactive approach to design and strategy.
• Lead the development of a key product from concept to production readiness within your first year, demonstrating your grasp of the development process and commitment to quality.

You will report to the Director of HW Development.

Your environment:

• Engage with unique, high-speed PCB technologies and the latest FPGA and x86 processor innovations to push the boundaries of what's possible in hardware.
• Access state-of-the-art testing tools in our labs to meet and exceed the expectations of customers, including giants like IBM, Netscout, and F5.

Your team:

Key technical skills:
We have a diverse technology stack and are looking for someone eager to delve into it and master its various aspects. You should be familiar with some of these areas:

• FPGA and CPU expertise: Hardware-level board design with Intel Agilex, Xilinx Versal FPGAs, and x86 processors for high-speed data processing.
• PCB Skills: Understanding of high-frequency PCB technology and signal integrity.
• Design Tools Proficiency: Experience with tools like Cadence/Orcad for PCB design and validation.
• Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with EMC and safety standards for product compliance.
• Network Interfaces Knowledge: Experience with high-speed (400Gbps and beyond) Ethernet and PCI Express standards.
