Senior Sales Engineer – Bangalore

The job
As our new Senior Sales Engineer, you will report to our Sales Manager in Bangalore and be responsible for carrying out all sales activities to achieve the sales budget locally and assist with long-term business planning. You will be part of DEIFs office in Bangalore, which is part of DEIF India there is a subsidiary to the DEIF organisation with headquarter in Denmark.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Participate in formulating sales and marketing strategies to enhance market shares and sales capacity
• Search information and analyses for different product sectors, customers and competitors.
• Build relationships with potential customers and create new business opportunities
• Provide valuable market information or market report and suggest improvements based on these
• Improve customer satisfaction on all business sectors
• Track activities in CRM system.
• Coordinate with marketing department on relevant projects
• Closely work with internal sales, technical support etc.

Qualifications

• College degree or above, major in Engineering or Electrical automation
• More than 10 – 11 years of experience, 3-5 years working experience in the related industry and within the Bangalore market
• Knowledge of the related industry and knowledge of electrical products
• Excellent writing and speaking skills in English
• Good communications skills and ability to understand & solve customer problems.
• Experience in using Sales ERP tools and provide accurate sales forecast and results
• Ability to build long term business relations with key account customers, strong business acumen, and global mindset
• Effective teamwork skills
• Self-motivated and eager to succeed with a hands-on approach
• Willingness to travel
