CERTIFER Solutions assists railway companies with their safety and quality management, regulatory issues, homologation and project management. In order to strengthen its team, CERTIFER is looking for a : PROJECT MANAGER AND LEAD ASSESSOR (M/F) - BASED IN CANADA (TELEWORKING) Job description In collaboration with CERTIFER project managers and evaluation teams, they will be responsible for urban projects (tramway, metro) in Canada and in particular for : • Project management: managing the interface with clients, assessment teams and other assessment bodies, reports to CERTIFER's head office on difficulties. Supporting the preparation of bids for Canadian projects Prepare assessment activities and check technical/project documentation, safety assessments and audit reports. • • • Depending on their experience, the Project Manager may be required to carry out technical assessments: - Put their expertise to evaluating structural railway subsystems, as Control Command and Signalling, Rolling Stock, Infrastructure and Global System. - Carry out safety assessments (CSM-RA, CMREA, CENELEC, national standards) In addition to the above, they will closely monitor regulations and changes in standards at federal Railway Safety Act), Provincial, Territorial and international levels. ( They will further participate in maintaining and developing CERTIFER's knowledge related to their expertise and will develop global system activities with the Infrastructure Technical Manager and the Technical Director. Profile required • • • • Engineering / Master's degree. 10 years of experience in the railway industry. 5 years of experience as ISA or similar role. Demonstrated knowledge on one of the following : Control-Command and Signalling, Rolling Stock, Infrastructure • Other skills : - - - - Fluency in English. Fluency in French would be a plus. Open-mindedness, organisational skills and proactivity Ability to work independently, define priorities and meet deadlines Ability to carry out audits and write reports (technical audit and safety assessment).
