About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced QE Domain Lead to lead our quality engineering and assurance teams within a dynamic people-centric environment at the Pandora Digital Hub. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing quality across e-commerce platforms, retail store technology, and order management systems. Experience in a Microservices, API-first, Cloud native, Headless (MACH) architecture is highly desirable. This role requires a strategic thinker who can devise and implement an organisational quality engineering and assurance strategy with a strong emphasis on automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an organisational quality engineering and assurance strategy that emphasizes automation and innovation.
- Ensure the quality of e-commerce platforms, retail technology, and order management systems through effective test planning, execution, and management.
- Lead testing initiatives within a MACH architecture, enhancing our ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient systems.
- Oversee the development of initiative-level test strategies and plans, ensuring they align with business goals and objectives.
- Utilize key tools such as Jira Zephyr, Jira, and Confluence to manage test activities and documentation effectively.
- Maintain a deep understanding of CI/CD tooling, pipelines, and quality gates, and ensure their effective implementation in all projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality engineering practices into the entire development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in quality engineering and assurance within the retail and/or consumer goods sector.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading, developing, coaching, and mentoring teams to achieve excellence.
- Proficient in devising and implementing quality strategies with an automation-first approach.
- Solid experience in test planning, execution, and management across various platforms and systems.
- Familiarity with Microservices, API-first, Cloud native, and Headless (MACH) architectures.
- Expertise in using tools such as Jira Zephyr, Jira, and Confluence for test management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD tooling, pipelines, and quality gates.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Leadership and Management Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor both internal and partner colleagues.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders across the organization.
