We are looking for a self-driven and committed Project Manager for our team of Project Managers, to lead Technology and Development projects in our Technology department.

As Project Manager you will run the projects on prototyping, testing, and validating the blades, for the Next generation turbines.

How to contribute to our vision
You will plan, prepare, and coordinate technical projects according to the Project Management (PM) standards defined, throughout all stages of the Q-gate process.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing and executing blade development projects from scoping/conceptualization through detailed design until documentation and hand over to the production facility
• Managing and executing technology development projects from idea generation until technology validation including development of design tools and test methods
• Managing the project team(s) involved, ensuring their deliveries are in sync with project plan, defined milestones, and always in compliance with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy standards
• Coordinating with Operations and Product Platform Management for the entire turbine
• Managing stakeholders and escalating issues when appropriate
• Monitoring the budget adherence and taking actions to minimize non-conformance costs
• Ensuring proper documentation of project results, and of all products or technologies delivered.
• Adhering to TDP and NPD standards defined, and manages and coordinates all assigned project staff
• Putting int to practice excellent cross-functional and interdisciplinary skills

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

A candidate who holds a Bachelor’s or/both Master’s degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Composites engineering, or other technical field studies. We also expect you to:

• Have experience of 3-5 years, in particular experience of working as a Project Manager
• Have fundamental project management skills and a proven track record with product or technology development, experience with Wind Power, aerodynamics or composite structures are a plus, but not a requisite
• To be structured, development oriented, open for change, outgoing and possess strong communication skills
• Have excellent communication in English both orally and in written form
• To have a Project Management certification is an advantage
• To have strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
