Do you have a strong track record as a leader in a knowledge intensive business area? Are you ready to use your leadership skills to strengthen and develop our Engineering department? Then we might have an exciting opportunity for you with these two newly created Engineering Manager positions.

About the roles:
Our Production Technical Department (PTD) consists of two main areas: PTD, Engineering and PTD, Process. In total, PTD employs approximately 40 specialists and has a wide span of responsibility including, but not limited to: Supporting the manufacturing sites, technology transfer, packaging development, automation engineering, cleaning and process validation, equipment installation, commissioning and qualification.

We are looking for two Engineering Managers for newly created positions in PTD, Engineering, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of PTD, Engineering. In the roles, you will engage and motivate your team to ensure high performance and a great environment.

As Manager of Packaging & Automation Engineering you will lead a team of 11 highly skilled specialists covering the areas of packaging materials, packaging equipment and automation engineering. Outside of leading the team, you will be responsible for executing our strategic automation roadmap projects and contributing to the development of a packaging material strategy.

As Manager of Process equipment & Qualification you will lead a team of 9 highly skilled specialists covering the areas of process equipment engineering and equipment qualification. In this position, you will also be driving our optimization journey within commissioning & qualification and the development of our Good Engineering Practices.

For both positions, your main responsibility will be to lead your team and ensure a great environment with high engagement. By continuously developing competencies, you ensure the team has the required competencies. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
• Supporting your team in project scoping and execution.
• Ensuring continuous improvement as an integrated part of the way we conduct business.
• Taking charge of prioritizations and resource allocation ensuring your team’s deliverables are met.
• Managing and building great relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Driving the development of standards, guides, and check lists to support our ways of working.

Qualifications:
In order to be successful in the role, we imagine that you have a relevant educational background in science, engineering or similar along with a proven track record from a similar position, preferably from a comparable industry. Experience from the Pharmaceutical- or food industry is seen as an advantage.

You have excellent leadership skills, which you have demonstrated in previous roles. As a person you are trustworthy, a strong communicator and a good listener, which you use to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

You are result oriented and persistent, even when tasks become complex and you experience some resistance. You are decisive and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you are expected to prioritize and handle multiple activities at the same time. You are structured, business driven and highly motivated by never knowing what tomorrow brings.
