We work to move Denmark in the direction of green transition, sustainability, climate adaptation and innovative urban development. To ensure that all aspects of health and safety is always at the forefront of our projects, we are looking for occupational health and safety Coordinators. We are around 30 colleagues working alongside our customers on some of Denmarks most significant projects within occupational health and safety. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like HØST PtX Esbjerg, Køge University Hospital and Copenhagen Cloudburst Programme.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Act as an OH&S coordinator in the planning and execution on construction sites.
  • Contribute with OH&S input to tender material.
  • Preparation of OH&S log, risk assessment, plans for occupational health and safety.
  • Advise COWI's project planning teams and clients on occupational health and safety.
  • Bring your occupational health and safety knowledge into play across COWI's business.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
On top of that, we expect that:

  • You are a trained occupational health and safety coordinator with + 5 years of experience.
  • You preferably have an educational background within engineering, construction, design etc.
  • You have experience in providing advice, recommendations, and written reports to clients.
  • You can provide input for tender material.
  • You are proficient in English and Danish - both written and spoken.
  • If you have experience working in 3D models it is a plus.
