COWI IS SEEKING DISCIPLINE LEADER IN HVAC AND PLUMBING DESIGN FOR DANISH AND INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS FOR OUR MECHANICAL SECTIONS ACROSS DENMARK
Can you envision yourself leading a larger or smaller mechanical team as a Discipline Leader for HVAC and plumbing engineers, where you ensure that HVAC and ventilation design is delivered and executed on time and with the agreed quality in the project's defined phases?
If you have experience as a discipline leader/subject matter expert in mechanical engineering, we would very much like to discuss with you whether you would be interested in shaping the future with us in an innovative environment where we bring out the best in each other.
Together with your dedicated and skilled colleagues, you will make a mark on the sustainable societies of the future with your contributions to construction projects. At COWI, we have a strategy of always contributing to steering our clients towards sustainability. 100% of our revenue should come from projects that support this goal. Our aim is to make an impact and influence the sustainable societies of the future, and we work towards this through sustainability management and certification."

JOB AS AN CONSULTAT IN MECHANICAL INSTALLATIONS
You will become part of COWI's construction division with approximately 700 employees in Denmark, advising and solving all types of complex and multidisciplinary tasks for a wide range of diverse clients. This is in collaboration across Denmark, as well as in collaboration with our Engineering Design Centre in Lithuania, and India, where solving tasks to the best possible standard is the focus of daily collaboration. In this position, you will become part of a dedicated design team and will report to the section leader for the mechanical installations.

Your daily focus will be on the projects. You will solve most of your tasks in close collaboration with the project team and in close dialogue with clients and partners both domestically and internationally. As a discipline leader, your tasks will include:
› Defining and describing the scope of tasks for the HVAC and plumbing area, where you are the
discipline leader.
› Ensuring proper staffing, time, and cost efficiency, as well as ensuring quality and progress, where
you are the discipline leader, in collaboration with project and section management.
› Ensuring coordination with your own and other disciplines including the BIM part, architects,
contractors, and other partners throughout all phases of construction, as well as ensuring
constructability.
› Contributing to the development of our strong professional environment within
the HVAC and plumbing area in collaboration with our professional forum.
› An opportunity to work across COWI on projects within or outside the section, for example, with
COWI International or on projects in other countries.

COWI is a leader in its field, as our employees are leading specialists in their fields. We provide you with the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry and expand your potential in a unique professional environment where we collaborate to create the societies of the future. In collaboration with your manager, you set the direction for your development and build your professional skills through our Danish and international projects. The projects range from residential buildings, office buildings, industrial to Pharma to Power2X; we cover a wide range mainly focusing on new construction for municipalities, public, and private clients.

Professional commitment and good leadership skills
We imagine that you will particularly match the position if you have:
› An engineering background with a minimum of 10 years of experience and you are solidly and
broadly knowledgeable in HVAC and plumbing design.

› Experience with BIM and 3D design in Revit and methodologies for this.

› Construction site experience and focus on constructability.

› Knowledge of building commissioning.

› Experience in client advisory services and/or client supervision.

Perhaps you can also say yes to the following statements:
› You are structured and thrive in a busy environment.

› You prioritize collaboration, are quality-conscious, and can maintain an overview.

› You are proficient in written and spoken Danish and/or English, including technical language.

› You want to push for sustainable and digital development.

› You are naturally curious and think it would be fun to work on international tasks as well.
